  1. Hey Dave,

Brilliant presentation. I’ve been reading up on eBooks and eReading for a few of my MLIS classes. Unfortunately, the primary focus of content I have been required to read is how reading a book or eBook is better based on physical attributes of the device.

This presentation has been a wave of excellent thoughts and ideas that makes more sense than complaining about whether the platform is digital or paper.

What bothers me even more than libraries waiting for publishers to sort out eBook dilemas is MLIS programs that ignore digital content and fail to teach student that they need to learn how to be a leader in the organization of digital content. It’s the future.

I’m working on my last semester and I wish content like this would have been covered in class. I feel it would have better prepared me for my future in Library and Information Science.

    Thanks for posting.
