Extremely well done video that talks about libraries as communications and scholarship. At the end see how they celebrate not knowing where we are going…understanding that it is a journey of discovery and invention not blueprints. Is you library about invention and discovery of the future?

Great video. It’s refreshing to see academia using a combination of modern technology with traditional means. Having journal articles easily accessible online means some publications will have a much wider audience and may accelerate progress that utilizes this information. Keeping it closed purely to libraries I think was a handicap – this type of potential is exciting to see. I sometimes wonder what may have happened if my thesis had seen a larger distribution to smarter minds than my own. Hopefully we’ll see some leaps forward due to these changes.
